Sorry for the late post this week – I got a bit caught up with term papers and final projects. T-minus 22 days till graduation! I missed doing outfit posts so this week I’m sharing how I styled a couple pieces from 7 For All Mankind. When it comes to denim, this is hands down my favorite brand. One of my latest closet goals is to clear out all my old jeans and slowly replace them with different styles of 7 jeans. I say slowly because they’re priced as investment pieces, but absolutely worth it!
Alright, let me start off by raving about these jeans for a minute. If you only own one pair of jeans, they’d better be b(air) denim. Okay fine I guess you can buy what you want, but I really recommend these! The first pair I got was the ankle skinny in the color duchess (literally the perfect shade of blue) and I loved them so much I knew I had to get them in black. I’ll admit I’m guilty of living 90% of my life in black lululemon leggings, but some days you just need to look a little more polished (or maybe your leggings are in the laundry). These sleek black jeans are dressier than leggings but still give you that super flattering, tight-in-all-the-right-places kind of fit. Speaking of fit, I’d advise going a size down in these. They’ll be snug at first, but after you break them in they’ll fit like a glove.
For the rest of the look I chose a 7 For All Mankind chambray button-up with a tie front detail, lace-up heels from Steve Madden, and my beloved new Givenchy Pandora mini. I can’t get over how well the red pairs with black and denim! This smart-casual look would work for a day out or even for a casual Friday in the workplace. Unlike a lot of tie-front shirts, this one doesn’t show any skin so it keeps the look more formal. It’s also ridiculously soft which is always a bonus.
While this brand isn’t the most affordable, if you sign up for emails you’ll notice they hold a lot of 25% off sales. I was also able to get a discount at my local store by giving them my zipcode to show I was from around the area. What these pieces lack in pricing, they make up for in quality – they will definitely last you season after season. The pieces from this outfit will be linked below if you want to check them out. Thanks for stopping by this week!
I just checked and as of now these jeans in duchess are on sale for $99!!! Go buy them right now!!!
